A son of the south , distant relative to General Francis Marion the “Swamp Fox” , this Marion namesake has extended the family legacy into music, literature and retail instrument sales.

A natural born ” Networker” , Bruce Marion is one of the “Movers and Shakers” of the entertainment industry in the south east.

Entering the new Millennium with an impressive list of accomplishments, Bruce Marion is a “Renaissance Music Man”!

Twenty-Five plus years as a performing musician,mastering guitar and multiple keyboards, Bruce Marion has performed with numerous regional acts and as musical director for former “Drifter”, Joe Davis.

honed his talents by tackling every music Genre’ from Rock, Pop,Country, Blues and Jazz.

The early day’s as a “Sideman’s, Sideman”, Bruce Marion was laying the groundwork for the coming solo and group recording work.

As many musicians know all to well, the economics of the business can be challenging and at times unforgiving!

Recognizing this reality, Bruce opted to secure his future in music, creating a full service retail instrument facility.

Celebrating 16 years, servicing area professionals, students and music hobbyists, Marion Music, has become central Florida’s music headquarters.

Through the years the crossover markets have expanded and Bruce’s musical direction has kept pace with the changing scene.

Writing, performing,producing and recording with vocalist, Kimberly and his band ” Swamp Fox”, Bruce released the contemporary country album, “Gonna Find Me A Cowboy”, in 1998.

Featured at many of the areas, fine dining and listening rooms, Bruce Marion has developed a repertoire of instrumentals for the grand piano.

Translating these atmospheric compositions to CD, Bruce recorded his ” Sunsets: The Piano Collection” in 1996 and his piano with orchestration release “Redream”, for 2001.

Literary accomplishments include a southern Mystery Novel ” Cottonmouth” and the second book in the mystery series “The Martini Shot”
Taking the lead in video entertainment music production Bruce Marion has created two original scores, for the game “Daikatana”, distributed world wide by Lonstorm.

Whether performing live, recording, writing an entertainment column for ” Brevard Live” or retail sales and management, Bruce brings a lifetime of experience and talent to the music industry.
